We had our first visit to Children's Hospital ER yesterday. While enjoying the unusually warm weather, Byron fell at the park. Unfortunately he hit his head on the metal corner of a ride. It was horrible. He started bleeding profusely, which terrified Marilyn. We went to the ER where he had 8 stitches. Two of them were internal -- it was a very deep gash, and the rest were just to stitch him up. The cut is 1 and a half cm long and runs vertical. We're very lucky he didn't damage his eye.

He's now home and seemingly normal, with the exception of the bandage covering his forehead. Here he is after coming home from the hospital:



Update: Here is Mr. B without the band-aid. Poor guy.
