And now for the Pictures...

Okay, part of the reason that we set up this blog was to have a site for the pictures of the kids. This way we don't have to send individual pictures, which I tend to be a bit of a slacker about (who me?).

So the link should lead you to pictures from the kids' birthday party. For Thanksgiving we had our usual, and wonderful, crowd -- John and Victoria, Amie and Michael, and Angelo. We ate a ton, and really drank even more! On Friday we celebrated Marilyn and Byron's birthday. There was a cake for both of them -- it was yellow cake. We learned this lesson the hard way, since for Marilyn's birthday she enjoyed chocolate cake, which unfortunately for us, didn't last long in her system. But Byron loved the yellow cake and gobbled it up right away. Presents followed soon after, and Mr. B's favorite was definitely the Cookie Monster, which is as big as him.

On Marilyn's actual birthday she got to choose her favorite restaurant, which is a Red Robin. For those not in the midwest, it's a burger place that has a huge Robin walking around. She had a ball and really enjoyed having her Pa-pau with us (that's grandpa for the non-Greeks).

Then, one of our neighbors showed up and offered us eight tickets to Sesame Street Live. They were box seats, with a VIP parking pass. Amie and I took the kids, and it was amazing. Of course, Amie and I turned to each other and just laughed, because here we were in box seats with an incredible view -- all the things you would want for a live performance -- and where were we? At a kid's show! We just figured, that hey, this is our lives now. It was a bit ironic.

Finally, at Marilyn's Montesorri they have an annual Christmas recital, where the kids sing. Last year Byron was only two weeks old and was an absolute doll during the performance. This year, let's just say that it was his bedtime and he was not happy to be out. He only smiled when he flirted with the au pairs sitting behind us. Such a little man he is. But Marilyn was amazing. She loves to sing, and while as her parents we might be a bit biased, we're quite impressed by her.

Okay I'll leave it at that for now to make sure this is up and running, but please bookmark this and check it. I'll update fairly often and this way won't bug everyone with large pictures they have to download!
